I think this scanjuggler is an hoax... last year I sold my indivision here to have money to buy that gadget. I bought it and until today never recieved the article. The guy always answers that the board will be ready next week.
last email from him:
Hi Jorge!

Don't worry, the project is going on and your card will arrive very soon!

Unfortunately the PCBs I got before Christmas has turned out very badly. There were numerous faulty ones (shorts, misaligned solder masking) and the rest just looked bad (unreadable texts, due to a cheap black lacquer that needed two layers). They has made them hastily, I think. I damaned a redo of it, with more care and using the usual, high quality lacquer. After some dispute we have reached an agreement, but they were out of the HQ lacquer, had to wait until they could get it. I will be getting the new PCBs in a few days! Then I will be assembling the cards as fast as I can. I will be sending yours among the first ones.

Also, there was one missing part before Chrismas, and I could only get 5pcs of it early January with a long delivery time for the rest. So I switched to a different type (of the same family), that is on stock (it's better, as well, but costs several EURs more per piece), but had to do some tests first with a sample to see if it works and also worth the extra expense. It's done already and I'll be getting 50pcs early next week.

Sorry for another delay and that I didn't made an update, the SJ Announcement List doesn't work since november (it's maintained by a friend who didn't have time to resolve the problem yet) and I hadn't much time to send a mail to each of the list members.

Best regards,
dezz

I don't think it's a hoax but at the same time I don't think it will be released any time soon unfortunately.

This product has been in development (off and on) for years as far as I can tell.

Even if it was released tomorrow, I highly doubt the software would be up-to-scratch for quite some time (just look at the Indivision Mrk2 as an example!).

So this is just another wait-and-see product and if it comes out then awesome but until then don't hold your breath waiting for it ;)

Hi Nova! The problem is that I already made the payment by Paypal to Dezz, one year ago (june 2013). At the time, he said that the board would be shipped in july. Like I said on eab, now I dont have the money, the indivision (sold here) nor the scanjuggler... If the card exists, the creator should be more honest and should not take the money and explained why not...

im asking people to use some common sense with this product.

i stopped getting updates via email a long time ago(thats bad enough on its own),on top of that there's no price for it here or the shipping or a definite release date that anyone knows about! and no communication directly regarding the person selling it in the first place!

don't pay for anything in advance when you dont know when its coming or being made(finished product),let alone when the person who sells it cant communicate with the people who will be buying it and have a reasonable lead time! or any lead time at all!

unless i see an amount of units made, and a definite price plus shipping..it dont exist, its that simple.

for the people who say,hey but i bought one...i dont care.(i have seen one for sale on here) ive only read of 15 of these being made...nowhere near enough for demand.
all your doing is funding a product/research with no promise of an actual card in the near future, let alone the crap wait a few more months rubbish that seems to make it ok.
if your parting with your hard earned money ask questions! before you hand over the cash,if it looks unreasonable then it is,its as simple as that.
if the card hasn't gone into production with a final price to me,it may as well not exist...even if im told it does!

Well I totally agree with you, Mr. Bates.
Actually I was interested in scanjuggler and even got in touch with the developer while I was rebuilding my A1200. After reading posts here and on eab, I gave up the idea of getting a non existing hardware.
I work hard for my money and I'm not interested in investing them in something that MAYBE will be in production.
First do the thing, then I'll pay for it, or if you guarantee me it will be done by opening a crowdfunding in kickstarter or something like that. Else it's just a fraud.
I'm sorry for all the peeps that actually "lost" their money, but scanjuggler is not real right now and I will never pay for something I cannot see or touch, if we speak about hardware.
We got Indivisions that are quite cheap, functionals and sold by a company that I totally respect.
But anyway I solved my problem with a quality RGB->Scart cable. Luckly enough my TV deflicker natively.

Just my 50 cents..
