I have a Cyberstorm mk2 040 accelerator with a scsi controller. The CDrom is connected internally to the scsi-controller. I have no external SCSI devices. The machine has been running without issue and the CD-rom has been working for years but now it suddenly won't work. I did notice my battery was flat so I changed it, but that didn't help :P I'm using AmigaOS 3.2 and the stock CD0 dosdevice. In unitControl the device is set up as: async, reselection, FWC off, removable.

Does anyone have any ideas?

That is an interrupt problem, could be that it needs to be set manual, if it's 10 it can be on the same as the card

Could also be a Termination issue on the cable. Terminator resistors can fail. How are you terminating on the CD drive? If using the internal termination on the CD drive. Maybe worth adding an external terminator after the CD drive and setting the CD drive termination = off. On the other end on the Cyberstorm, it may mean the termination resistors maybe failing. It’s a case of troubleshooting each end.

Removing CD0 and installing AsimCDFS appear to have solved the issue. I don't know how or why..
