Thanks. Can you give me a rough idea when that will be so I will make sure I am online?

forget diode ,dont install it, if you use it with just usb power, just remove soldier and use external usb power

Edit: this jumper cuts voltage from to amiga to Arduino

Confirming, after removing solder jumper from the four units all four units work perfectly with every MicroSD card tested as long as 5v power supply is connected.

All is good. Positive feedback left.

That's great. Can you please list some of the cards that are compatible without using an external PSU - especially 2gb+ cards?

Also, is it safe to draw this amount of current from the Amiga's parallel port?

Thanks.

It would be very bad idea to power sdbox from parallel port 5V line. It is only meant for pullup rezistors and very limited. Not even think about it.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. I think it safer to just use an external PSU.

Hmmmm, just double checking, are you sure I do not need to solder in that diode? The reason I ask is the SDBox plays total havok with my Indivision ECS - with the SDBox installed the Indivision ECS constantly loses output sync..... as soon as the SDBox is removed the system functions perfectly again. Has me a bit worried to be honest.

Your thoughts?

the jumper gets power from pin 14 and feed
arduino from here, so if you remove solder jumper arduino will not take power from amiga, i am using with this configuration more than 1.5 yeara so far , i have not face any problems
