Used to be GM, VP, etc. in the aerospace industry for 18 years after having engineered lots of fun stuff on lots of civil and military airplanes, now running a hotel in Far North Tropical Queensland, in Australia. I've bumped into Amiga during my engineering studies in 1991...

Very nice, is that in Daintree?

JOB:
Debt Collector (sort of) :-/

HOBBIES:
Software development (mainly operating Systems)
Amigas
PCB Development
The kids (take up most of my spare time)

I currently am a programmer and analyze data all day when I am not wrestling common sense into management. In previous lives, I worked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier support at a major telecom and was in the US Army.

In my spare time, I enjoy movies, television, retrogaming, gardening, fishing, and hot rods.

Job: I manage a team of web developers at the University of Southampton.

Spare time: I never seem to find enough of this, there's always something else that needs to be done. That said, when I get the chance, I like board gaming, going swimming, listening to music and science fiction (particularly Doctor Who)

I've taken a bit of a break from the retro computing side, just don't seem to have the enthusiasm for it right now. That said, these things come and go, so that's likely to change before too long.

I work as a Senior Document Analyst at a large 'Financial Organisation', writing software to manipulate print streams; create documents for Credit Card and Banking systems, Credit Card and Account Statement systems and Debt Recovery 'Red Letter' systems.

Don't really like it too much, but I've always done it since I left school really. The money is good so that helps....

Spare time: I seem to mainly move my retro goodies from one pile to another and occasionally wipe the dust off!

I enjoy watching movies and TV shows but seem to spend most of my time maintaining my media server - archiving classic TV shows and trying to squeeze more space from my SAN.

Professional hitman.

Not really a people person and don't get to know people at work for too long so unmarried, but my hobbies include shooting, fencing, archery, travel, computers old and new, and growing vegetables.

Hey sir_beaker, one of the managers at work is really giving me a hard time, I may have a job for you!

I work as a Linux System Administrator... mostly because it is the only thing I can do...

In the spare time I love to "play" with my computers (80% Amiga, 15% Commodore, 5% others). I also like watching TV series, listening to music, visit museums and artistic cities, learn the etymology of words, broaden my knowledge of (European) history, better understand electronics and in general read about something new and interesting...

Good morning all
My life is much simple since I haven't got that far at school:I run a Pizzeria with my family in Saint-Tropez/FRANCE where I am spending 16 hours per day for 8 months.
Father of 4 children and 3 big St-Bernards.
The same interest in retro stuff than all if you guys.
I try to deal against time to satisfy my family and love to run in the afternoon for a hour since I have no time free.
My motto:the time you sleep is a waste of time.
Coming of an age of 40 if you sleep half of it then you are only 20 years-old....????
cheers guys and come to say hi to my restaurant...

Alex
