It worked fine when I had my now dead Apple 40MB HD in it

I pulled out a SCSI HD from my A590, Known working Connor 1060S

When I run Supraboot it either gets stuck while trying to detect or else reports No SCSI devicies found

It doesnt seem to like scsi id 6 or 7 at all as it refuses to load. On scsi ID 1 - 5 it loads but says NO SCSI dev found

Is it possible it just doesn't like the hard disk ?

But that would be silly because I used that same hard disk fine in A590 and also inside a Commodore SCSI controller (I think A2091) and also inside a GVP Impact and it was fine.

I give up. If I find another scsi drive I'll try again. Till then I've installed workbench on an IDE drive which is connected to my tandem and have a boot disk as it's not auto boot.

I dont know if it helps but with AUTOBOOT enabled on the card the Amiga will not do anything. Just black screen.

With autoboot off the Amiga works (not the scsi) and the scsi card is found in early startup screen as working.

I tried and without the term pwr jumper

But does it have terminator itself? Term power won't help if there is no terminator. (Drive probably have built-in termination because it works on other SCSI controllers)

What ROM version? ("version full suprascsi.device" and check label on top of ROM chip) In my experience old Supra ROM versions (at least Supradrive 500XP which is not wordsync but AFAIK ROM should be same) are really bad.

The ROM says AMAB6 on the chip

AMAB6 is OK, but please use the SupraDrive install disk to setup the drive, then it should work!

I uses the disk supra boot 38b which had worked fine when I had originally set it up with the old 40mb drive.
