Thank you all for your support valued customers of PLAnkton and other products I created and sell.

PLAnkton is now more than 3 years old and as a result I have begun deleting from my database the information about buyers who have acquired their unit(s) before October 2015 and will continue to do so for the next months.

If you have purchased your PLAnkton more than 3 years ago, it is no longer covered by warranty but you still get access to service. PLAnkton with broken pins, damaged components or any intermittent problems can be serviced and often for much less than the price of buying a new one, depending on the nature of the problem.

Please feel free to contact me about any technical issues you may have whether your PLAnkton is covered by warranty or not. Defects or problems always represent an opportunity for me to make my products better.

Even if PLAnkton is available through various distributors, it is ALWAYS less expensive when ordering on Amibay.

Hi,

do you happen to have a link to a thorough review i.e. regarding compatibility??

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofg33zk9uCA

Other than that, people try to check for software compatibility which makes absolutely no sense. It's as if you tried to check if a pair of glasses was good by checking which brands of car you can drive or not.

I have found ONE specific Fast Load clone which didn't work with it (and works with a genuine Commodore MOS 906114-01) because they used the wrong type of chip to replace the 7407. Turns out it doesn't work with the C64c (board 250469 with the large 64 pin PLA) either. The real Fast Load (or clones made with the correct chip) work just fine with PLAnkton.
