It's a A3070 tape drive that complements an A3000UX, which I have also, so now it's just down to the A2410 and then I can get started

I picked it up yesterday from the Mega collection with 5 tapes, the previous owner has had stickers/tape on it, so I may need to rework the front cover.
I tested inserting a tape and started spinning/reading and was lit orange, then became green, so I assume it's working.

The rarest computer I owned (I don't have it anymore, gave it away to a computer museum) is a Tandy TRS-80 Colour Computer II 'white model'.

It was rare because it was a complete CoCo 2 inside a Late CoCo 1 case. As far as I could find out, Radio Shack didn't have the new case ready when CoCo 2 was ready to ship, so the first batch actually came in a CoCo 1 case:

I'll see if I have some backup foto's of this machine. I had all manuals, original joysticks and I also owned a Tandy cassetteplayer and dotmatrix printer. Last 2 ended up on a dump as far as I can recall :picard

I also owned (again) a Exidy Sorcerer

Complete, including screen.

My current rare hardware is pretty limited I suppose.
I own a CDTV complete (incl keyboard, mouse, FDD) and approx 40 legal games for this machine. I own an original Philips CDi 210 incl 10 games or so.. Not sure, never tested this machine..

And I don't know if it's rare, but I own a Toshiba T-1100 (which is for sale on this website even), which is considered as the first actual laptop..

According to Toshiba, that is; the Epson HX-20 predates it by about 5 years though ;)
Got a minty one of those myself. Also have a spare with some issues, which is listed on the bay :)

If I have to choose from my "small" (...) collection, it will be the Commodore C232 :)

Also my complete Nintendo Virtual Boy collection (with every cartridge ever released) should be mentioned....

I consider the Osborne 1 as first "lap"top, and I own one :)

You can't really call that a laptop anymore imho, it's just a portable/luggable computer. In that light the IBM 5100 predates that Osborne of yours by roughly 6 years :)
