I've got an archive of most of the information from the original web pages and files that were on the web site. The site went down years ago and has not been put online again. I'll post the archive here when I have some time.

I don't know of any multi-volume demos for the VIC-20.

I hope you enjoy the build. A friend also recently ordered a kit that I'll be assembling for him.

Where can I get the last firmware to FE3 (VIC-2011)? I have got one. My firmware is r021 version

The SDIEC firmware is easy to get, but no FE3 firmware.

Does anybody know the process to downgrade the IEC firmware ? I've seen a file called downgrader-sw2.zip in the official site, but I don't know how to use it

So i got my fe3 and assembled it.
Booted up, got the normal bootscreen (figured the firmware was missing)
Reset button works.
Found a firmware i had downloaded before.
Put it on a SD card in the root, put it in the fe3 and booted.
Normal boot screen.
Rebooted, garbled screen.
Reset button makes the screen even more garbled and locks up.


I think i dont have the right firmware, idont know what software i want on the sdcard ... help!

I haven't been able to track down my backup of the web site but here are a couple firmwares that I have. I haven't given up on looking for the files but I have no clue when I will find them.

Nevermind i had made some silly mistakes.
I found the R022d firmware in a forum64 thread.
The firmware zip i got before didnt have the flash util and all the other stuff so didnt work right.

Right now im trying and failing to get Doom running. =P
I should use the "all ram" setting right ?

I've never tried Doom so I'm not sure.

I got it running. =)
Had to uncheck the "wedge" from the ram settings.
