That's outstanding work there old chap.

Yes, I'd like to know what's going inside. But first; what finish are you going for?
-painted / powdercoated as a Walker clone
-maybe polished aluminium with lights? (a cylon head walker)
-something else

going to have a powder coat satin black finish.

as i said earlier, i don't know what is going inside yet:p

Hah, i knew it! And first to guess it (whadd' i win?) lol
Us 'Walker-replica parents' could share a lot of dets on these!
Looks like the legs are solid, eh?
If i may ask, what's your overall build dimensions?
I have to thank Nicholas Blachford for sharing plenty of details with me, while he was the owner of the actual machine. Looking forward to your progress mate.

tbh i thought you would get this as you have already made one:thumbsup:

yep the legs (which i am very pleased with) are billet ali.

i used the dimentions from the blatchford park site, it is exactly the same size as the dimentions listed on there:)

Nice vacuum hose!

no, no, no!! it is Darth Vader's helmet!

Ehmmm, is this a joke?

Awesome stuff dude! It's gonna turn out real good.
If i may make a small suggestion: seeing as you haven't yet fastened the legs, try to drill the housing from inside all the way into the legs, and do some threads on them so you can use screws to secure the legs onto the housing.
Welding would be a bit of a pain moreover once you have to brush and clean stuff..
Are you using Argon for welding the aluminum?
