from GitHub;

WavetablePi is a wavetable module based on the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W running mt32-pi. It is capable of emulating several midi synthesizers, including mt32, sc55 and general midi with custom sound fonts. For a complete feature list please refer to the mt32-pi project.

Control it from DOS with https://github.com/gmcn42/mt32-pi-control (Included the zip on the SD card)

I made myself one of these a while back and think it's great. Had some spare time on my hands and made up two more from the PCBs I had left over.

Built complete with Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, Kingston SD card, DAC and OLED display. MT32-Pi installed and configured on the SD card, just plug it in. For MT32 you'll have to add your own copy of the ROMs, see the GitHub details https://github.com/scrapcomputing/WavetablePi

Asking £47 GBP plus postage if anyone wants one. PayPal Personal Payments for friends and family transfers.

This is a recording from one of them; Descent, General MIDI, fluidsynth mode default sound font from MT32-PI

Links for how it looks installed. Takes up a bit of space with all the bits fitted. Ignore the noisy background from the old PC hard drive and noisy fans, just to show it in place.

Descent, Monkey Isl, Doom

I have the parts to make another, I'll do that later today. After that I'd have to order some Raspberry PIs

@wmsteele unfortunately I couldn't find a PI Zero 2W to make another, sorry. Maybe I'll order some Pi Zero 2Ws and make some more, or I can send you a blank PCB if you like?

Would be interested without the PI, although not a blank pcb, just missing the PI if possible?

Hi, stumbled on this post as am interested, however coming from Amigaland and not sure if this would be compatible with my ESS 1688F PT-201 from Pine Technology. sound card as per attached photos.

First photo is from an ebay listing, 2nd photo is my actual soundcard.

Retroweb link;

I have the MIDI / Game port as a seperate attachment, hope this helps.

Regards.
