Hello mates,
Maybe this is not the best place to start such a discussion, but I'm trying to collect as much advices as possible.
Here is my problem; I own an Amiga 4000 with a Cyberstorm MK2 (68060@50MHz), 72MB of RAM on the CPU board, 16Mo of FAST ram on the main board, a BigRam 256MB, a Cybervision 64, X-Surf 100, Indivision and FastATA. It runs Kickstart and Workbench 3.1.4.
From time to time, when I open a Workbench window, the window opens without any gadget for closing / resizing / etc... usually, when this happens, the system is about to crash a few minutes later. Maybe I'm wrong, but it doesn't sound like an hardware problem, as the first symptom is always this issue with gadgets on workbench windows. I noticed that it usually happens after some application changed the resolution, and I'm going back to the workbench.
Have you ever encountered such a problem? Would you have any idea about where to start investigations? I have already tried to remove everything from WBStartup (although there is not so many application there) and patches in the startup sequence. I use the 68060 library from the latest MMUlib, and the latest CyberGraphx v4. Also, the FastATA card is set to PIO3 and I ran the ReadTest many times with no error; I plugged a real SSD on this card with a SATA/IDE adapter. It was not running properly at PIO5...
Thank you!
