What should the ZX81 boot screen show?

I'm doing a composite mod of my zx81, and since I don't have anything that takes RF I didn't test it before hand. So since the keyboard cable was either broken or got broken when I opened it up I can't test if it works. So before I put more money into it, is this a correct boot screen (on a b&w monitor) when booting without a keyboard, or does it have a fault? the image is sideways. Looks like a K or something.

Yes, it has a K in the lower left corner, like you see in this picture:

Now sure what could cause your screen to be sideways..

That would be the cellphone that took the picture. It only rotate in metadata.

Then I've got a zx81 with a switch mode regulator and composite output. Now I just have to see if I can trim the membrane so it fits again or if I have to replace that as well. which would require waiting for an order. T
