What to use instead of plastic insulation sheet for A4000?

Hi!

My spare A4000 is missing the plastic insulation sheet for the Motherboard, is there anything else I can use instead?

Maybe something I can buy and cut to size?

Cut up some thin cardboard. The A3000s use cardboard for that purpose.
 
Thanks for the suggestions, I'm sure I have some thin card laying around.

I have a wanted thread open for the part but I imagine no-one has a spare kicking around!
 
Laminator sheet, once it's been through the laminator - it's rigid, clear and easy to cut.

The Breadbin has several pieces of cardboard too. Between the mainboard and shield and some have it in place of the upper shield. The top piece is coated in something conductive of course.

Laminated aluminium foil isn't conductive and can add RF shielding too if needed. ;)

Actually I have spare plastic from an A500 and CD32, together they should be big enough!
 
better to find spare plastic roll in the neighbourhood
and cut it
 
i would go with johns suggestion the stuff is perfect for insulation.
