If you want a better experience with whdload, you really need an 030 processor in there.

I have a very clean/white boxed A1200 Rev2B with an M-TEC 030 @ 42Mhz with CoPro too. 8Mb Ram, switchable to 4Mb without needing to pull the thing apart & also M-TEC SCSI Expansion with External SCSI CD Rom. She also has a DCE FF/SD fitted so you can use most modern day display devices & because of this, the internal hard drive is now redundant as the mount will not go over the DCE FF/SD. I had a 1GB IBM Micro-Drive hanging around & that sits in a single CF reader on the end of the 44 way cable. The SCSI CDROM is a big help when accessing the Disc's with no CPU load for it.

It might be more than you want to spend, but please discuss via PM if you in the slightest interested. My RC days are over I'm afraid, so this would be a cash thing only but we might be able to work something out if you want a really clean A1200.

All the Best.

got ya pm's ... 2 machines on the table which are both very tempting ... anyone else out there ... kin i will be contacting you about this soon with a few questions

Here's an appetizer. Ignore the Blizzard box but the Desk top Dynamite box is included with A1200. 2nd pic is of Pinball Fantasies running her.

Design fault & type of plastic m8. All the 1084's are very prone to this front flap failure. Works fine though....

Sorry I'm a tad late with the pics I promised. - Christmas humbug & all that....

The floppy pic shows the new screw mount to lift the floppy clear of the Internal 50 pin SCSI header. You can just make out the pins on the outside of the bottom shield plate. You can also see the MTEC-SCSI card fitted to the back of the M-TEC 030 card.
In order to get the SCSI CDROM functioning for you, I removed the unit from it's housing & enabled the SCSI TERMINATION Jumper on the CDROM itself. I only have Passive terminators in Centronics 50 way. If you ever need to expand the SCSI Bus, you will need to remove this Jumper & then terminate the SCSI Bus elsewhere as per your expansion.

See PM. :)
