where to post where to buy?

hi there,

prior to making a post which potentially is wrong, I thought I'd better ask here first.

Considering there seem to be quite a few other hobbyist repair guys/gals on the forum,
I was wondering if it's ok to post a "where could I buy", rather then a "want to buy" search for a particular spare part I'm having trouble locating to fix a pile of micro's.

The reason I'm keeping this question slightly vague is because I've recently shared a few sources I use to a community on facebook intended to support home fixing of a particular game console, only to find my friendly sharing met a lot of grumpy sellers unhappy with me sharing such info publicly as it revealed a lot of them were making money reselling the item.

Hi, you could ask for advice in AmiOracle section, even this thread could be moved there and renamed.

Just be careful with price discussions as that might break the price driving rules.
