I just had a cool idea. If they put near field (inductive) charging technology into a mouse mat that also contained the wireless transmitter (connected via USB), then the wireless mice would be constantly charged, so you could use it indefinitely.

Everything since the classic ball mouse has been a step down
optical suck btw..
just thought id mention it lol.
optical eat batteries like there is no tomorrow. struggle to use some mouse mats "most". and generraly are like 400-800. which makes them pretty inaccurate.
if its not ball it has to be laser..
dont get me wrong you need to spend ~£300 for a decent wireless laser mouse for tournies
the wire on wired mice can cause you half a second of issue and thats more than long enough to get your self shot lol.
?... I can't even find a mouse that costs that much! A wired connection is always preferable to a wireless connection (the same is also true when it comes to internet and LAN connections)... You don't have to worry about batteries dying, signal interference or input lag issues during an intense match dont get me wrong you need to spend ~£300 for a decent wireless laser mouse for tournies

£300 for a gaming mouse? You're joking right?... I can't even find a mouse that costs that much!
