Wanted Workbench 3.0 Install Disk only

I recently bought an Amiga 1200 computer which is boxed with pretty much all the disks except the Install disk.

I would like to track it down so my boxed computer is complete.

Can anyone sell me just this disk?

I can't put later version on because i'd need a licence to do so, but Petro Tyschtschenko has given permission to include this version of AmigaOS. To extract the file, you have to unDMS (Disk Masher System) and have a disk at the ready for insertion into df0:

Just to clarify, I’m just looking for the original disk so I have everything that originally came with my A1200 when it was new.

Although it’s also useful to have in case I want to repartition the original mechanical HDD.

I'm pretty sure unless you bought an A1200 HD it never came with the Install Disk which is why they're less common. I'll have a look and see if I have one but I don't think I do anymore!

@fitzsteve You maybe right with that although I'm unsure. Mine came with a 200mb HDD as advertised on the original Desktop Dynamite box I have. The person I bought it off bought it from new but must have misplaced the disk which is unfortunate. If I was so OCD about these things, I could have just made a new one but my aforementioned OCD won't let me

Thanks for the kind offer. I wouldn't really want to pay more than say £10 for it shipped if possible. I think maybe the postage alone could be more than that. But you never know.

Just for reference, my first A1200 was shop upgraded to the A1200HD and the disk package had a possible home-brew or copy of the original floppy disk.

I checked, I have various spare 3.0 Disks but not the install I'm afraid. I'm sure I have one in my 3.0 wallet in the loft but you can't have that one sorry!

Thanks for the info, I think this pack had the HDD from the store. It's the Desktop Dynamite package and mentions it on the box. But I suppose you never know.

My A1200 box was the plain white one, not a "special edition" type like the Desktop Dynamite.

Good luck in finding an original install disk, I can't recall ever seeing one myself.

Don't forget you can only supply original media - copies are not allowed
