Hey Folks! My Bank Holiday Sux so far as I'm working

On my own in the office so at least I can browse Amiga sites all day! But I'd much rather be at home hacking some miggy's!

Got back last night from a 2 night trip to Venice so life isn't all bad I guess!

Anyone else working today?

I've got two appointments 3pm and 3.30 so I'll be heading home after the latter!

Most of the shops here are closed so I'm not expecting much in the way of enquiries!

:coffee:

Nightmare Mate! At least it should be a very quiet day...

Yeah I hope so, I didn't get in till 2am last night as flight was delayed (another whine for the thread) Ryanair you SUX!!!!

And Stanstead SUX too! The Idiot ground staff couldn't find any steps so even after we landed late we couldn't get off the plane for 20 mins!

not a holiday here in Finland so I´m at the office. Business as usual. Just an 11 hour shift today though so I´ll have a bit of time to play with kids and the A600 before I go to sleep

Not a holiday here either. :( Although, I've been in Steve's position before and had to work on holidays when one of our systems isn't working properly. Out next holiday is Labor Day. I don't foresee having to work then. :D

I'm working 24/7 in the summer period. I want to commit ..... :ninja:

I have three jobs and in all Bank Holidays are meaningless - even the public sector one.

I´ve had that happen to me. When I do sleep, the brain still processes the work so I keep changing profiles to dsl lines in my dreams. Profile dreams ftw. :coffee:

Just finished for the day, unfortunately I drew the short straw and had to cover the day shift for today

I've been moving a ton of sand from the front of the house to the back where we are continuing to build an extension.

(We can't get it delivered to the back of the house, so has to be moved by wheel barrow).

Anyway now finished and enjoying the forums

I was working today too. The company I work for 'bought' the August bank holiday from the workforce years ago. Had a good few drinkys with an old mate last night and woke up surprisngly fresh this morn. :p

Damn I ended up working late lol! Nice to know I'm not the only Amigan working today though!

As soon as I got in I had to swap the wheels over on a Car I'm selling and clean it. Just finished cleaning it and guess what, just started raining!

I've worked 0900 - 1800 today.

Spent most of the day pondering the best way to insulate my A530 to stop it shorting, once I find out where it is happening. So near and yet so far.

I updated some notes for work today... even though not getting paid for it... eh, think my brain is broken.
