7, The power brick was underpowered and caused instability. I never considered my Amiga 1200 a reliable or stable machine when I used the original power pack.
8, It was bound to delivering software on floppy media when ide CD-ROMs should have been easy to add via a complete built in IDE interface. They could have even have made space in the case to attach a CD-ROM if they needed to. If this machine had come with a CD-Rom drive as standard, even with all the other hardware limitations it probably would had jumped the rest of the competition. The lack of CD-ROM drive on the A1200 is the fundamental reason that CD on the Amiga never really established itself as a viable medium in its own right, rather than a gimmick used to distribute existing floppy versions of software.
9, The machine upon release has many different versions and revisions, and varying bugs, such as the timing issue.
10, The games in the Desktop Dynamite pack were shockingly bad, almost as bad as Screen Gems. In hindsight it also seems questionable to include anything but the latest versions of the productivity software in the package when you are trying to sell the benefits of the new machine, so for me Wordsworth 2 was a slight bit of a missed opportunity. You did not see PC manufacturers bundling Word 1.0 when Word 2.0 was out because they wanted to sell upgrades.
