you can remember playing the original space invaders in colour, only to discover it was coloured plastic film stuck to the inside of the cabinet which made them so

lol...

Your fave game is pacman and you still wonder how ghosts would taste with a cherry...

...your classic 8/16-bit rig set you back more than a current bleeding-edge PC rig.

... but that didn't stop you from playing it for six hours solid, on one 10 pence piece......

I preferred the Williams Defender arcade machine :D

You know you're a retro computer user when ...... you still think 1.44MB is enough to store your favourite documents

... you regularly insert a cassette tape into your computer and type LOAD ""

... you can do a decent impression of Spectrum tape loading noises

... you constantly sit there humming the Bubble Bobble theme tune when you're at work or home.

... when you dig your Amiga out and try a game which crashes (to a Software Failure message), you reach for a Relokick floppy
... your favourite game controller only has one fire button :D

I can still remember in detail the sequences that the formations of invaders came down at you in from the game Galaxians... and I hammered Battlezone at Retro Reunited last year.

I sense that the Force is strong in us........

Your first computer mod involved lengths of wire & a DPDT switch :) (bonus points if you used chewing gum to hold the wires in place while soldering)

You used to think "Wow I would love to go to that Crystal party in Denmark. I must write to that P.O. Box!"

You didn't, and still don't, get freaked-out and scared by command lines. :p
