Hello,

the last item is now on my A3000D motherboard. With a 32 mb simm it give 8 mb; i think, with 8/4mb simm it give respectively 8 and 4 mb.
It is for sale for 30 Eur + postage. Payment by Paypal or bank account.

Sorry for late feedback, but after some headscratching how to install it it seems to work just fine

For some reason I get "only" 15MB reported, but I believe one of my ZIP banks may be faulty. Prior to the installing this adapter, I got 7.5MB total reported by Sysinfo even though 8MB ZIPs were installed.

many thanks, i will leave feedback in a short time.
About the issue, i do not ever seen this type of failure. The only clue is to take a look at the empty zip sockets, to see if all is ok.
You need to detach carefully this device (act around the border with a flat screwdriver, this action is safe!).

i am a little bit busy, but can you print this board industrially in your area? If yes, i have made slight improvement on the design of the pcb, to made easy print it with machinery and solder the parts easily. I will release the new draws here on amibay soon, please stay tuned.
I need to check what is the best option.

There are some online places I can get them made (the boards). I think it requires a "gerber" file for the board design? Is that what you are considering releasing?

yes, the gerber files i mean, but at the moment i have here the board without logic, that i have forgotten to mention on the posts above.
It is in working order and, actually, on my A3000D.
Read the post at the site five, please.
This board work with 4-8 and 32 mb simm (but it give only 8 mb, or 4 mb with the 4 mb memory simm).
If you add the logic IC, you can reach 16 mb with a 16 mb memory simm.

It cost 35 Eur with tracking inside Eu. If voyager_1701e is interested on this item, it cost 40 Eur with tracking service.

at the moment no. I will release soon the gerber files: this will be an improved version of this board on sale here, to make easy to solder common pins. It will be a two layers board, with the same size/dimension.

the board pictured on the post #69 is no more for sale: the PCB was to bad! So i have opted to build a new part, and i sell it at (almost) the same conditions

without logic, that can be added later, at 30 Eur + postage (10 Eur inside Europe or 15 Eur for the rest of the world).
The quality of this PCB is very good!

many thanks for your purchase of this device some time ago!


I will release soon the Gerber files of an improved version of this part (two layer board), just wait a reply from moderators on other thread; but this device, printed by me at home, still will have some good points!
One are the pins, that are flat and well suited to connect to the original sockets of the motherboard. I think, the new two-layer board will receive common rounded pins, that are not so good in this case...
