Yes, seems makecd isn't happy...
This will be reported to Matt, hopefully it can be fixed..

DjCook.

Does this card work with a PiStorm 2K running emu68?
Pistorm doesn't implement bus mastering so anything zorro will most likely fail. Don't hold your breath. Get a terrible fire instead or think of your 2K (if you insist on using Pistorm) as a big and heavy A500 without zorro.

In need of help connecting this card to a CDROM drive.

Jp1 closed for lide? (I've tried open and closed)
Devs/Dosdrivers CDO SCSI.device changed to lide.device

LIV2/life.device/github mentions that..

"CDFileSystem from AmigaOS 3.2.2 (should be) loaded with LoadModule"

If this is needed, can someone kindly inform me how this line for startup-sequence is written/formatted? (I've tried a few variants without luck)

Sysinfo (and showconfig) looks like it shows the card and the dicke Olga.

Thanks in advance! :)

If you are moving the jumper onto the on position, then it no longer uses lide.device. Instead it goes into scsi.device. In your instance it becomes 2nd.scsi.device as you have 2 x IDE ports. One on the mainboard and also the card.

Get hold of idefix97’ off Aminet. Use the FindDevice program to scan what it sees on each device detected.

As for CDFileSystem by using LoadModule. I haven’t done that. But if you get hold of IDEFIX97’ and install that in Export Mode, then it will help you identify where the CD device is and create the correct mountpoint for you.

I am using Mount program instead of Loadmodule

You can see unit number of Your CD-ROM if You run HDTOOLBOX (pit a CD in it, otherwise CD-ROM will not start), and add this unit number in the tooltypes of Mount

Yes he is aware of the problem and started to work on that.
He brought out a new version (for testing) PlayCD works now, MakeCD isn't working yet, but I'm pretty sure it can be fixed soon.

Any feedback from Matt about compatibility between lide.device and make cd?
What happens if you don’t use the lide.device? And use the Oktapussy mode? I.e scsi.device? Therefore you are using 2nd.scsi.device. JP1 jumper option.
Does MakeCD then work?
