Hi buddy can you tell me if this works with an amiga 4000 and do I need to do anything or is it plug and play - can I connect an ide cd rom and ide hard drive. If so interested. You can package it when you return the Sony Vaio from repair (sending tomorrow).

This card is very ideal to equip an A2000 with a hard drive and cdrom if you don't want an expensive scsi hard drive.

True they don't autoboot but mine is set up on my A2000 (with no SCSI HDD) that I boot a disk basically just to load the device driver etc.. takes a few seconds and then everything else including loading and using Workbench is done from the IDE hard drive (in my case Compact Flash to IDE).
