3RD BATCH

OK, SO IVE ONLY HAD A LUKE WARM RESPONSE TO A 3RD BATCH, SO TO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE PM ME AND THOSE THAT HAVE DECLARED AN INTEREST, UNFORTUNATLY AM NOT GOING TO BE MAKING ANYMORE OF THESE KITS, THEY TAKE A LOT OF TIME TO PUT TOGETHER AND REALLY DONT HAVE THE TIME WITH TWO KIDS. SORRY. I DO HAVE 5 KITS LEFT BUT THESE ARE FOR ME, AND ILL PROBABLY ASSEMBLE THESE OVER NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS AND SELL THESE AS ASSEMBLED UNITS SHORTLY. ILL LIST THESE ON AMIBAY ONCE DONE.

Then would it be possible for you to post all the details and files somewhere so people can order their own pieces and assemble them by themselves?

Which files would people need, everything for this project is already available on the internet. PCB's and component lists from A1k forum.

I have 3 kits left over, these are the very last of the last.
They are £25 + £5 pp ( so £30)
if you would like one of these kits please declare interest a pm me.

Just a quick note to point out a few things to help people with the assembly:

- In the guide the 7 x smd capacitors stated as 100uF when in fact they are 100nF. I guess Pghulme could correct this in his guide - I'm sure it's a typo, the parts shipped are the correct value.
- The PCB design makes mounting IC3 (LT1085) quite difficult without clipping the legs, since the trough-holes are mounted too close to the component layout for the supplied component in the kit. If someone has a more elegant solution than clipping, please do share (or drop me a PM )

Hi
thanks for your help
the first few I sent there was a typo that says 100uf but should say 100nf
this was revised on subsequent kits sent out, but the values won't change how this works
the lt1085 can either be clipped, but I found bending the legs at a 90 degree angle over a pair of pliers also did the trick, if anyone else has any tips tricks on building this to make it easier please post as this is a great fun new toy for the amiga community

thanks all
