Hello everybody,
unfortunately, I have to admit, despite the fact that all cards undergo a thorough check on my equipment (A2000 Amiga) before these are sent -
some users informed me that their cards are unstable at the declared 35 megahertz frequency
(all of them are trying to install it in an A500 Amiga, so seems there is some hardware differences between these models!)
Please note that have warned that such a problem could occur,
and that these processors are designed for an operating frequency of 25 megahertz!

Unfortunately, on the current revision of the cards there is no way to switch the frequency using a jumper.
To lower the frequency from 35 to 28 megahertz it is necessary to desolder the resistor R12 and move it to the R4 position.
all users experiencing this problem please contact me to find out a solution.

Hello to all,
I'm one of those, whose card doesn't work. It crashes very offen and quickly on three A500s. One is A500+, second A500+ with motherboard 8A.1 (never equiped with battery) and third is A500 rev. 6. Tried with two PSUs. One is new from vesalia with 4A on 5V. All A500s work with both PSUs and my only one Vampire V2+. All used testing RAM utilites (memtest, memcheck, MBRTest-2) gives errors in all FastRAM range. Card is not usefull, it crashes, randomly freezes) . Tried without CF card (even without cable, booted from floppy). Kickstart 3.1 (40.63). All chips are hot, but I belive in specs range according to founded specs informations). I can touch them as long as I want. I belive, I'm not only one user with A500, and 68EC020TK 35 Mhz). Please, can somebody confirm 35 MHz variant as working on A500, if its possible write motherboard revision. I'm going to try it on my A2000 rev. 6.2. I will let you know. Just need to find free time. A2000 has DKB CHIP RAM expansion, and its to high to install it with 68EC020TK.
I belive according to feedback, Viktor is handy and honest. But even bad things happens. Anyway, I'm expecting working products for my money.
I'm not angry. I'm glad that there are people like Viktor who produce hardware for us.

With best regards
Kamil

for now, the only difference i am aware of - is Edge Clock (Pin 20 on the CPU), there is an additional 270pF capacitor where A500 is missing it:
e-CLK.jpg
unfortunatelly, changing ECLK resistance doesn't solve this problem, cards are working nice on A2000 @35Mhz, but do crash on A500.. clocking card to 28Mhz seems to solve this issue

Hi Viktor,

Definitely interested in the A2000 CPU Slot card that we discussed in a PM a couple of days ago.

Sent you a couple of reply PMs, but no tracking is showing so they probably did not make it to your inbox.

Just after a cost and will send some euro your way

cheers,

Just to report card works fine on my a500 rev 6 board for hours of use even with no heat sink. All my amigas are fully recapped with new power supplies. I guess I am the minority on having this work fine :)

Moved the 68020tk to my a 1000 using the TK relocated for the a1000. I had to notch the corner of the relocater as it interferes with the floppy plug. I also aggressively shaved the corner of the floppy plug to get the relocator to fit. I have a rev 6 a1000 board. I wonder if the floppy plug is in a different spot then other boards? Just a warning to others :) works great otherwise. Id post a pic but Im on tapatalk and it wants me to create a tapatalk account. Dont have time at this moment.

All paid cards are shipped,
sorry guys, i don't have any left.

Need to speak with Matthias before another batch is maid, not sure this will happen soon,
have slightly different plans, to be fair. An upgrade option from 4 to 64MB for 68030 TK cards will come as next..
best regards & merry Xmas,

Your 8 Bit Dreams
