A1200 measurements needed

I'm firing up the ol' CAD software for a super secret project... but I need the help of an A1200 owner to do it!

I need the width, height, and depth of an A1200 motherboard fitted inside the lower RF shield. I also need the location and size of the PCMCIA slot, IDE, floppy, and clockport (i.e PCMCIA is X mm from the rear, Y mm high, Z long).

What would be also be nice would be measurements of how much height is gained from add-on boards like Indivision AGA or an IDE buffer (what are they called again? Fast IDE?)

Measurements of say, mediator PCI slots wouldn't be refused either... Don't think I'll need them but they could come in handy in the future.

Can anyone help? I'd get the tape measure out myself but I don't have an A1200 at the moment.

Hi, i could give you some measurements from my Rev 1.1A Amiga 1200
i'll be using one of these:

But i'm a carpenter so i'm good at measuring with these.
I can take some pictures while measuring and add them to pictures so it's clear.
No expansions/accelerators in my Amiga though but maybe this will give you something to start off with.

Hmm i think i've might have misunderstood your post. ? Did you mean measurements of the RF shield or of motherboard, because i measured the size of PCB, metal shield not included.

I actually meant RF shield, but what you've done is enough to get me started. I actually only wanted Shield measurements out of laziness - would save me making up a plate around the ports!

Anyway you'll get credit when the super secret project is unveiled.

NP mate she got a good cleanup in the process,washed the top cover also. Looks like new
I'm quite pleased with getting this Amiga as it has no fixes and it's the earliest revision so i'll get to do the fixes myself when they're needed.

Oh i made a mistake here sorry i've been a bit tired all day, lot's of stuff to do for daughters birthday today.
I didn't measure the total width because it was hard to get a good reading there so i measured it in 4 bits.
So total will be 388 mm i feel a little unsure now thought so i better double check the measurements tomorrow or later tonight.
Would definatlely don't want to deliver false facts on this.

Hi, a bit of update on this.
The board is indeed 388x182 mm and all the other measurements i've made should be quite accurate i can vouch for 'em 99%
Quite curious about your project, is it getting allong well?

A600 first proto design is ready to be sent off.

Going to do the A1200 one now so they can both go together.
