So I took apart a4000T for cleaning. I removed some devices (one scsi hdd, one broken cdrom), leaving only one hdd, new cdrom and floppy, but now I can't make it running :(
I didn't have terminator at the end, and I forgot how it was connected. Can somebody help me with that?

How was the SCSI chain before you removed it? If you haven't change any of the DIP-switches on the back of the SCSI board I would guess:

  • The new CDROM has a SCSI ID that collides with the HDD / Internal SCSI card.
  • The new CDROM does not have a built in SCSI terminator so you need to add one in the SCSI chain

I think I got it connected right now, but all I can get to, is boot screen and boot floppy. A4000 does not see any connected hdd.
