For Sale A500 IDE adapters, PS/2 mouse adapter, A600 CF adapter

Hi mikl,

i'm interested in v402+8mb, a question or two before ordering for my A2000. is this board compatible with the 2mb mini megachip expansion (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=915). do you know of any problems with the v402+8mb memory map or fitting in an A2000? And how many IDE devices can be attached to the controller at the same time?

The chip expansion should likely be compatible.
So far I have tried the ram board on an A500 main board. Autoconfig in/out signals are to be added, and wired to mainboard (of A2000) to avoid conflict with autoconfig cards.
There could be a master and a slave drive on the cable, 2 devices.

8MB board: Appears that autoconfig in and out are now there. If no wires are connected, a jumper is required to turn autoconfig on or disable the board appearing to amiga.

Ide v402 low profile and ram wont attach to each other directly. Cpld chips "collide" preventing complete insertion. Ram on top will not fit because of ideconnector. Riser socket in between might make the combination not fit.

Hi. Is your adapter v402 with low profile pins? Then you will need a riser socket in between. If it is with the long pin socket headers, you could actually solder the mem board to same pins under then ide board.

I will make a more fitting version of memory board some time, with 3.3v memory and cpld, that can be placed on top side of v402 ide.

Mkl, for that setup, do I need a specific cpu riser? My concern is if the top A500 fit and close ok... Will a kipper2k CPU riser suffice?
