I was going to upload zipped version www page here, but it's like 68 megs, maybe too large?
I wonder how large files Aminet could take...

I hope I will be able to help with this.

Hej Mika,

Thanks for getting back to me. I hope you're well in these strange times we currently live in! As I wrote before my A1000 does not boot with either the v425 ide+8MB or just the included MC68HC000. I was suspecting it to be related to the "slow PAL" issue some A1000s are suffering from, but after replacing all PALs with faster GALs this can be ruled out. So I've ran out of ideas by this time. Can I maybe just send you the board back for you to have a look at it or do you have any other suggestions I should try first?

Cheers,
Chris

Hi. Are any of the chips running hot, as if they would be burnt to short circuit? Or does resistance meter, if you have one, show a short between ground and chips voltage supply, which can be direct to +5v on 5v chips, or +3.3volt from regulator for +3.3volt chips. Regulator can run hot if a +3v3 chip shorted.

I have card like in picture. Does it have a clock port, if so wich pin is 1? Has anuone tried it? I have 7bit's clock port to SPI controller, I would like to use. amiga_ide.jpg

3 RAM boards listed in own thread.
Message: If you have a ram board from me sold before september 14. 2018, your board probably has a malfunctioning RAM controller. It can be fixed by reflashing the CPLD using 6-pin pogo pins and whatever tools you use for Xilinx CPLDs. I have no guide for the process now.

Transfered this sale from other site here.

Only one kit available at the low price 84,95€ + 20€ tracked shipping europe/30€ world

Pictures went to next post (unintentionally)

A combo unit, where IDE68K and RAM boards are soldered together to same pins for lower profile unit. The pins are from socket strips with elongated pins, the sockets are good for DIP ic package pins and the thin parts are long enough to stay in motherboard socket.
Also MC68HC000P10 CPU plugged in, ide cable, 2 custom cf-adapters (master/slave) and 2 1GB CF cards. ("industrial" type which doesn't report being removable media to HDToolBox)

IDE:
Tested by booting to Workbench from CF card on IDE adapter.

IDE Requires a KS-ROM with driver for Amiga 600's IDE interface, which this board emulates, such as KS3.1 V40.063
Requires that user connects two signal wires from the IDE interface to the Amiga mainboard. Three 10 cm wires + straight and right angle header pins included. The third wire can be used for ground to reduce EMI. Amiga 1000 needs kickstart adapter, which I dont't have for sale.

Installation of drives should be the same as with A600. Details, such as setting MaxTransfer block size to 0x1fe000 in HDToolBox may be found in internet information forums and sites. Project home page www dot mklboards dot fi slash ide -> ide 68k

This unit has 40 pins and nos 40-wire ide cable is included. Pin 20 has 3.3 volts on it.

Two custom compact flash adapters and two 1GB compact flash cards included. The other adapter is set to ide master, the other as slave by solder jumper. The other card could use pc fat system for easier data moving between pc and amiga (which needs fat drivers)

A Compact Flash card on an ide adapter should be powered from pin 20 as with the included adapter (pin which may not exist on some adapters), or eith other adapters, if possble, powered externally and set to use 3.3 volt power. because these particular boards use 3.3 volt IO. Possible other device shall not drive io:s above 3.3 volts to the CF card's IO:s on IDE bus. It is also said that many CF cards don't support two device master/slave operation. These cards seem to work, though.
After drive configurations were save with OS3.1 to master and slave drives, both appeared in WB3.1. In WB1.3 (with KS3.1) only master drives partitions appeared until hdtoolbox was used.

RAM:
No wires needed in Amigas without other autoconfig devices on the 68000 bus.
To use autoconfig devices on the side slot,
special wiring is needed, though this has not been tried put in practice. www dot mklboards dot fi slash ram68k

Separate ram and ide boards are for sale. These will not fit stacked together under A500 keyboard.
