Its larger because it has FPU. It does not collide with any components in Amiga. You cant use 2.5 disk craddle neither with ACA or Furia anyway. Both are 100% compatible with Kippers CF adapter or CF2IDE+ adapter.The Furia card takes up too much room, if it was smaller I would be happy with one.
Every CPU produces heat ;o) I had ACA620 and from that experience I can clearly say Furia produces less heat. ACA has CPU on the opposite side of the board and makes hell in that area. Furia has CPU on the good side of the board and it uses heatsinks to distrubute the heat over the metal surface. There is no airflow in A600, so I personally see the 020 cpu without heatsink very close to the A600 board as higher danger then nicely passive cooled 020 in Furia.Also from the size of the heat sinks it must produce some heat.
There is no problem with that.I am also worried about finding room for the keyboard ribbon, it looks like it catches the corner of the biggest heat sink on the right.
