My ACA 620EC Rev.2 accelerator has died and I need to replace it.
Does anyone have one they want to sell ?

For the Amiga 600.

Thanks

Wouldnt be just easier to replace it with Furia accelerator card? You get double performance comparing to ACA620 for the same money.

The Furia card takes up too much room, if it was smaller I would be happy with one.
Also from the size of the heat sinks it must produce some heat.
I am also worried about finding room for the keyboard ribbon, it looks like it catches the corner of the biggest heat sink on the right.

Thanks

Its larger because it has FPU. It does not collide with any components in Amiga. You cant use 2.5 disk craddle neither with ACA or Furia anyway. Both are 100% compatible with Kippers CF adapter or CF2IDE+ adapter.

Every CPU produces heat ;o) I had ACA620 and from that experience I can clearly say Furia produces less heat. ACA has CPU on the opposite side of the board and makes hell in that area. Furia has CPU on the good side of the board and it uses heatsinks to distrubute the heat over the metal surface. There is no airflow in A600, so I personally see the 020 cpu without heatsink very close to the A600 board as higher danger then nicely passive cooled 020 in Furia.

I am also worried about finding room for the keyboard ribbon, it looks like it catches the corner of the biggest heat sink on the right.
There is no problem with that.

Anyway good luck with searching for ACA.

Thanks for your message.
If I go for the Furia I would like to use one of these adapters for my CF card.

Very nice setup :)

Where did you get the CF adapter ?
Also where can I find the right mounting poles ?
Does the Furia have an enable/disable jumper ?

Thanks

If you opt for the Furia it might well be that you need to get an SD card instead of a CF card as with Furia CF's are problematic. For them I'd recommend Krashan's excellent risers.
