Nope... Sorry but it doesn't work... I give up for now... I have to get someone else to look at it... Luckily I have a working system :)

Thanks for all your effort though

:picard ah its a shame.

Hopefully somebody else can chip in and help or maybe your friend can solve the final probs, sounds like you are very nearly there:)

No worries... None of them works for me anyway

Yes if anyone has an answer for my mystical problem, please join in :help:

Just unburied this post, recently IndividualComputers release ACATune 1.9.1 (ACATune - Wiki) (Bugfixed version V1.91 now works woth all memory configurations of the ACA1221 under Kickstart 3.0.)
I update to my A600 and maintain this startup
C:ACATune -maprom * -maxmem >NIL:
but my system (WB3.1 + BetterWorkbench 4) freez on startup, after a couple of tests I discover system can boot without any issues this way
IF EXISTS C:ACATune
C:ACATune C:ACATune -maprom * -maxmem >NIL:
EndIF

Yes I tried the first line, the system would reset to startup and not boot hd
