Funny, as it doesn't feel like it. All I can say, reread my first post; you have overlooked parts of it.
As for the time this morning; actually, no, I haven't. The time I have put into writing these replies are wasted, unfortunately. At least it tought me a lesson.

The site is still at a very early stage and is still evolving, it will change as the demands on the site change. People will always be able to speak freely in the General Chat thread, unless it turns into flaming or extreme views are expressed.
In spite of all you do, there are always some who don't read the rules and they need to be straightened out, it comes with the territory. Delaying posts would leave us open to accusations of "cherry picking" goods on offer and preventing members from seeing live offers to the benefit of the Admins and Mods, we won't have that at all, we are all equal here when it comes to offers, first come, first served.

Hi fellow members,
Is there a long-term plan for AmiBay in place. Ie, is it planned to always be run from a forum type site, or are there plans to develop a custom built site to act more like the old amibench or ebay etc?

We thought about this before we set Amibay up. We felt that the Bulletin Board approach was best as it allowed users to ask questions about items, whilst allowing the site to be divided into sections of interest.
Our intention was for "Amibench on steroids", meaning that we wanted something more advanced than Amibench and not as full-on as Ebay.
The general feedback we are getting is that have pitched it just about right, although the site will gradually evolve.
The site is still officially in alpha server and we are testing the site to upgrade to phpBB 3.0, which will bring more enhancements.
We are always open to suggestions.

We want AmiBay to become what ever the users / members want it for. so as the members require more sophisticated methods to advertise their wants / sells, then AmiBay will evolve accordingly.
AmiBay plans to be here for some time! so its all a process of evolution for the AmiBay staff, members and site alike.
At the moment, AmiBay is in alpha stage, once we have all the little niggles and bugs out we will move to a beta stage and hopefully a final stage soon after that,
We are looking into various AmiBay software including a more auctioned listed orientated approach, even though we don't want AmiBay to become an Auction site, thats what eBay and those other auction sites are for...
AmiBay seeks to provide a quick and zero cost way to sell and buy goods. Initially based around the Amiga, but we hope to expand this to include all things retr0 and beyond
All the staff here are passionate about the Amiga community and are an absolute dedicated bunch of crazies They have donated money, time and expertise to get AmiBay where she is today. (I for one am proud just to be part of the team!)

I've worked quite a bit as a *nix system administrator running internet related services. I might be able to help if you need more hands. I've trying to teach myself PHP/MySQL, as well as C on Amigas at the moment.

Let's have a 'fun and games' section ... where everyone can post jokes, pictures etc (keeping it within the bounds of decency, of course) and such

Not sure if this has been suggested in this thread yet (can't be bothered to look to be honest!) but it would be good to have next to the 'View new posts' link top right to have a 'View New Trading Posts' that lists just threads that are in the trading categrories of the forum... so I don't have to sift through the "guff"!

Hi all,
Not sure if anyones mentioned it already but maybe it would be nice to have another column stating country in the for sale / wanted areas? Maybe a drop down box in the new topic form that populates the country column or something? Reason for the idea is that if i`m browsing through the for sale section it would save time reading ads that would not be applicable as i personally wouldn`t ship larger items in, but then that`s just me and maybe you guys are cool with that?
