Fan mount - will be a 3D printed add on - for 2 x 30mm fans
Removable CPU card plate..
Here's my issue..
I try to design for all concepts.
CPU card and / or Floppy drives.
The problem is.... if I add a removable plate for the CPU card, that plate will `have` to sit over a cut-out on the main panel.
The top of this panel would be `its thickness` higher than the main plate. This means floppy drives would be about 1.2-1.5mm too high!
Ok, for those who want to put the CPU card in, may not be using a floppy drive in some cases, but for those who are not using a CPU card, but are using floppies - could be an issue.
Just a thought though.....
If I were to make the removeable panel with holes to attach the floppy drives directly to - that may work...
But it would still stand - CPU card or Floppy*.
* - I respect that some CPU cards may well fit height-wise - but cooling the card is the issue - Maybe the addition of the fans could help?
Please give feedback on ideas.
