Hello! After a lot of years I would like to set up my Amiga 4000 again, but after that much time I am very much out of the topic, so I would like contact you for some help.

Hello, I’ve an A4000 with two problems :
1 : a broken memory slot so I want to replace all of it to prevent future problems.
2: the Amiga has been fixed from battery leaking and sound problem, battery has been replaced with a button battery but the clock save doesn’t work, so I think something is not good with this repairing.

So do you think you could fix it ? If yes what could be the cost to fix the 2 problems and give my a4000 a third life ? 😊
Thanks a lot
Douglas

I have an A4000 that I bought at an auction a few years ago. The CPU board is broken, but I can get it to work with an A3000 CPU. Is there anyone who can repair the A4000 CPU board?

Got my hardware back. Thank You! Awesome work. :check:😍
Have you lost an arm and your head and everything fell into the garden shredder? Send it to hese, he will fix it!
Well, I've repaired cards that were buried in sand (?), and ICs, pads and traces inside the PCB were corroded broken. Gone through a garden shredder is something I haven't still encountered :p

I guess what you're really asking whether I can repair the CPU board. It depends, what is the board model?

Hi Hese,

I have an A4000 motherboard that is giving me garbled graphics through the RGB port. This was working rock solid for years after you first repaired it but since the problem started after I tried to reinstall some Zorro slots I suspect mechanical fatigue in the old repair job or similar.

I also have a PPS Mercury 68040 card for my Amiga 3000 for recap.

I will PM you about both.

@hese Hi, do you help out with GVP hardware, too?

I have a properly jumper-configured GVP 040 Combo that does not "see" any RAM modules I place on it. Also it runs at 33 Mhz only if MMU is deactivated. Aside from that, I noticed no glitches. That behaviour started when I accidently pluged a Zulu-SCSI Module in the rear parallel port, confusing it with a DB25 SCSI port like the A2091 has it. :picard::picard::picard:
