Any update on your revised PCB? I have a keycap set but no PCB yet so have been waiting for your revision!

Thanks
I'm going through revisions fairly rapidly. One or two mistakes were made by me of course but the low profile switches, while they feel great, provide better keycap height and more space under the keyboard, are newish and there is not a lot of shared experience to learn from. The low profile stabilizers have proved difficult - manufacturer provides a layout drawing that requires a lot of things to be assumed, and .5mm in the wrong direction makes those keys stay down when pushed :-(
I think I have it now though and am sending out a couple of keyboards to testers. The one on my A1200 is working great, but the LEDs are in the wrong order! That's what happens when you design a PCB before you receive the case!

Declaring interest.

I am interested in a A1200 PCB and the connector kit and keycaps.
Just made an account here to order this...

So is this the type of low profile switch you are using?
Do these work with the standard keycaps or would there have to be new keycaps made for this?

Not quite, I am using Gateron KS-33 - similar to Cherry low profile but not compatible. I would have chosen Cherry as I am a big fan of the full-size MX switches but I just can't buy low-profile Cherry switches! I chose Gateron because I could disassemble them easily and see that the construction appears well-made; they are available from multiple sources; they are available in various styles (blue, red, brown etc.); they are not too expensive; finally the stabilizers available are also available, affordable and are not too hard to mount. Standard keycaps (specifically steveed's from Signature Plastics) work perfectly on these. The Gateron switches I have used before have been good and I like that they appear to have come up with an original design for low profile rather than just copy some else's. I'm pretty happy with these switches!

Oh, I have used Gaterons on other keyboards and I thought they were fine.
I like CLICKY switches so that was part of my concern but Gateron makes blues in that model and a quick search shows they are like 31 bucks for 110 switches which is great.
This all sounds really good.
I see you are in Australia so I imagine some things are different there but I have ordered stuff from there with great results.
I will be really pleased to have a real clicky mech keyboard for an Amiga 1200.
