I am interested in a 23 pin connector and 23 pin case cable. However, I am new to owning a real hardware Amiga. Got my first piece of hardware this week. Do I need the sync inventor / buffer if I plan to connect my 500 to a NEC MultiSync LCD 1970VX. I waited 30 years since I first saw the Amiga ads in various magazines to actually own an Amiga. My dad had a 2nd job of bringing in various IBM clones into our home 1985-1991 that he would ultimately sell to customers as a point of sale, accounting, and inventory workstation for their small businesses. He would always tell me the Amiga was just a toy but I knew it was excellent example of engineering

@dsi0103: I am not completly sure about 1970VX if it is also 15kHz capable, but I had reports that NEC 1970NXp worked fine with Amiga 500 and 1200, but for use with bigbox Amigas such as A2000 or A4000 you need sync inverter/buffered adapter.
