Looks like accidental advertisement on Kickstarter works really well, LOL.

P.S. I'm not interested, I have already received few adapters (they are not perfect: work fine for A1200, but don't work for A4000, boo-hoo), just amused by the sudden influx of guys from the Kickstarter, LOL.

@khimru: thanks for the link, I did not knew someone mentioned me here..
P.S. It is actualy not true, my adapters work great with every Amiga, I use one of them in my own Amiga 4000. But you do need the BenQ monitor, that work fine with the wired only adapter, some other brands like NEC, DELL need buffered adapters for use in bigbox Amigas. All of this is mentioned it the thread and in the first post too.

Cable sent for JackDan today, others will follow tommorow. PM for Sebbi sent.

Ah, sorry, was unclear. Yes, they do work but since these are not real 23pin, but 25pin cutted to 23pin they block audio connector on A4000! The plastic ones you could still use (although fit is tight, some audio cables would not fit!) but metallic ones are large enough to make the connector almost completely unusable. Of course the metallic ones are sold out thus it shouldn't be a problem anymore. The original adapter from Commodore does not have this problem, but it is, of course, a rarity today.

Oh yes you are right! On A4000 there is the audio connector very near the Video output. I did file away part of the plastics on my adapter for this reason, it is possible to do the same on the metallic one too.

I hope the OT can help me on this one... is it possible to display games at 4:3 with some border on either Benq monitors listed on the first post, or display will be stretched to 5:4? (I know it is not much difference but still it annoys me). Thanks!

Hi, I'm interested in 2 of your adapters. Please contact me and let me know the shipping costs to Sweden. Thank you.

@everblue: Interesting question. Yes, the monitor is 5:4 ratio, but in fact with Amiga we set the pixel clock to 94 so it means the image is somewhat expanded horizontaly so it goes towards 4:3. But I did not do any exact measuring, I may do this later.

Thanks for the reply =)

- I presume you changed pixel clock to get smoother scrolling?
- It seems that "Aspect mode" is disabled on 15khz signal on the BenQ BL912. Can you check if it is disabled on the BenQ BL702A?
- Monitor size apart... which monitor gives the best picture possible with smoother scrolling?

Cheers!

@everblue: Changing pixel click is necessary for a clear picture without any vertical distortions, anyway the scrolling is always perfect smooth (monitor does sync at 50 Hz). I am quite sure aspect is disabled with the BL702A too, but for sure is enabled on widescreen BenQ monitors.
