I've started to watch the first episodes of Voyager. Don't you think that Captain Janeway is kind of a stressfull person who speaks with a nasal twang (i'm watching with English audio)?

Isn't Thomas Paris the same guy that played the leader of the Nova Squadron kicked out of the Starfleet Academy after the shuttle incident with Wesley in TNG?

When I was a kid our family watched Star Trek, the original series pretty much every thursday? evening. I like the later series too' but couldn't really get into DS9 or Seaquest.
Something I can't get used to is the constant references to Shakespear in TNG. We know there are a lot of stage actors in there but please, leave it on the stage.
Slightly OT, I love the old movies from the seventies, Dark Star, Silent Running (before CGI) and later, the Explorers and Flight of the Navigator.

Something to note, Robert Beltran, the actor who played Chakotay, hated the show!
+1 for flight of the navigator... I really need to grab that on DVD...

ive got the first short circuit and the sequel,i dident like the sequel at all.
the first one i can watch over and over.
and flight of the navigator was a good sci-fi flick.
anyway,i used to really enjoy watching voyager every week
Does that mean I should? He played the role well either way. I liked the character.

Didn't Johnny 5 have like 8mb RAM?
Must have been an insane amount back then.Someday our PCs will have the same amount of memory and computing power as the Enterprise D

I'm pretty sure the J5 memory capacity is mentioned in the first movie, probably near the beginning?
