+1 for burning at low speeds being a myth, IF high speed burning was so unreliable it would have never been there to use

My problem is solved now.
I can burn CDRs with my Macbook pro using Toast and the media is working perfect in my CD32.
I replaced the Laser unit with the help of my friend.
