Worst retro money pit. I had bought a CSPPC a while ago and at first it ran great. Then in the summer it got a little warm and when I tried running it and it locked up to a black screen. It never worked again. Threw away $800 just like that. Never again.
personaly,i think if the card goes wrong just like any other card/machine of this age its going to be expensive to put right.
all i do is expect it or the machine its connected to,to break down eventually.
if it was brand new i would be upset, but i think they have had a really good run for there age,and from that point of view i simply consider them rented.
plus,its not like theres no-one around anymore to take a look at them,if they need a re-ball or cpu relacement etc.
if i was to put this into perspective ive seen pc's break down after a couple of years,and these keep going 15-20 years and keep on ticking.
thats a really good track record,when you look at it that way.
