He currently has it listed on the site but its $190 and is listed as out of stock.
If the MegaEverdrive is anything to go by he may not include these as theyre about the same stage of production that the Mega was last group buy. But let's wait and see.
It makes sense. If there's a huge backlog of orders to retrogate and stone age gamer so that they're not even taking preorders anymore as filling the backlog will take months, why should our group buy get ahead in line?
With availability issues on the sd2snes and limited number of extra games working on it compared to super everdrive with dsp1 and with the price difference being potentially quite significant... I think super everdrive would be my choise for now. Maybe get the sd2snes later when it has its firmware ironed out to support superfx too.
The last thing I would want is to get sd2snes only to later find out that the firmware upgrade for superfx could not be done after all and that I need cf3snes instead.
Still, it's worth asking about.
