CIC is the copy protection chip as I understand it.

CIC is the security chip that's in all n64 carts. If you buy one without, you will need a donor cart to steal one from.

Okay guys, I've added the dates when things need to be done by...

Our supplier is preparing for our order now as he told me he will need 1 - 2 weeks to get them ready. Based on this I have set a time for registering interest and payments....

FINAL DATE FOR REGISTERING INTEREST AND RESERVING ONE IS 22/3/12

ALL PAYMENTS TO BE RECEIVED BY 29/3/12

you know you want it phill..... think of the massively increased battery life due to it not having a 20 year tech of cartridge sucking up the juice..... =)

I'd possibly be tempted, would depend on the cost for one though, as I don't think I'd be too interested if it cost as much as an everdrive.

Just emailed our supplier to ask for a price estimate on GG Everdrives.


Will amend first page to show the price if he's up for doing them as well.

Could people who say they're 'considering' please bare in mind that I wont count you until you say you're definitely in? I wouldn't want people complaining that they said they wanted one after the order has gone through only to be disappointed.

I'm keeping a very strict tally on this thread and I don't want anyone going away disappointed

He put in a previous email that all other carts besides SNES and N64 will be equally priced. So GG carts are the same cost as the MDs

If anyone is printing labels and covers I'd be interested in buying one. If someones got all the gubbins to do a good job, could be worth offering it in a sales thread once we get the units.

Does anyone know anywhere that would sell the SNES DSP-1 chips pre-pulled?

If I could find enough I may be willing to offer a service of installing them to those wanting it on. If I go for one I will be doing one for my own so a few more wont hurt. I can solder them on no probs, not sure I have the equipment to remove them however.
