I bought one of the usb keyboard mods on ebay a while ago, although it was designed for an A500, I successfully fitted it to my CDTV. I installed into into my CDTV in the CIA ODD at U9, it works well. I had to solder the reset line to U12 - 5719 (Gary) PIN 5 or immediately adjacent Resistor R45, by comparing A500 and CDTV schematics.

Anyway does anyone know the pinout and/or purpose of the other two CON connectors, on my board this is CON1(10 pin) and CON4 (5 pin)? I already reached out to the original seller with no response.

CON4 is an USB Header to program the device, e.g. for a firmware update.

Useless as the developer is silent for months even years.

Just a generic USB PC keyboard at the moment, I went down this route with the USB adapter as CDTV keyboards seem to be rare and expensive, probably due to people taking the black keys for their A500s in the past. I take it this module isn't open source at all?

I already reached out to the seller first before posting on here and waited 2 weeks, no reply. Guess they don't know or don't want to share.
