I've been away from the site from some time now (understatement alert) and finally I feel that it's time to return to the site. I have some plans to get some of my neglected machines out of storage, give them a re-cap and some parts as needed and get them working again. Retro Rick has awakened my interest again and I'll be adding some solid state items to my machines. To start off, I have two ZX Spectrums (a 48K and a 48K+) that are getting re-capped and having new keyoard membranes fitted thanks to a Christmas present from my son Ian. I'll be testing and reviewing a ZXduino solid state SD card tape drive to transfer games on both machines. I'll also be re-capping some BBC machines, a Model B and a Master 128 and trying out an MMC solid state SD card interface on these machines too.
