Is there any handy application that would enable me to stream music and video from my NAS?

I use subsonic but run the subsonic server from my server, so it might not work from just a NAS

Found an application called BSPlayer that in LAN mode connects and streams media from NAS.

Oh yeah, forgot about that one. I've even got it installed, but never use it.

There is also aVia that's good.

I've also read some good news for Sky TV subscribers. The Nexus 7 should be getting SkyGo before Christmas.

Sky Go has now been released for the Nexus 7.

Great news for UK Sky TV subscribers. I just installed it and it works perfectly. The channels you get well depend on your subscription. All the movie channels are included, as well as other more general package channels like Sky One, Sky Atlantic and Sky News, and all the Sports channels are there including Sky Sports F1 so I'm happy.

It's been released at a perfect time for me as I'm going to be stuck at my In-Laws for Christmas and they only have Freeview, and we are normally forced to watch rubbish soaps like Emmerdale and Corrie, which I can't stand. At least now I can stick some headphones on and watch something better.

TV catchup is good, but it's only freeview channels and live feeds. Sky Go has all the movie channels and other exclusives like Atlantic and FX. Plus on demand with the best films and other current programs.

It is true that you do need Sky. Catchup is good otherwise and a great service to access all freeview channels on the move.

Personally I couldn't live without Sky but I understand is a bit expensive for some to justify.

Sky have another app, but it costs £15 a month.

Yeah, you can subscribe to Sky as an online TV account, so you can watch Sky on your computer and mobile devices. It still uses Sky Go.

For full TV subscribers they get it as an extra free bonus.

It also works well on the Xbox 360. Nice interface and streams well.

Hello guys,

I have mine 32 gb for a couple of months now. Absolutely love it, but don't have much time to play with it atm due to work.

I also use it alot in work for stuff like;
Order tracking,
Jobs for the day,
Schematic Diagrams (saves me going back and for to PC).
Work Email (Server)

very interesting fol, what apps do you use for these tasks ? I often get lost in the play store when trying to find something that does what I want. Or are you using just google services ?

Im guessing you told it to wipe user data? You only need to wipe cache and dalvik cache.

I use, firefox, printbot, colornote, adobe reader, office suite pro.
Print bot is cool, lets you print of stuff using and ip printer.
Colornote lets you make notes or do check lists.

I use other apps to, basically, I just do a search for something I specifically want to do. Best to search google for say "network printing apps for android", that normally turns up the result I want.

Yea was all wiped but using kernels is easier

Also this new tapatalk is great

Also try (a.I type keyboard) nice too

That's cool. Just tried Tapatalk HD and it's a nice development. Definitely reduces the need to keep jumping back and forward through screens.

Yes it is nice just watch the moderation options I unaproved this thread and had to go on the pc to reaprove it
