Hey All,

Prepping some stuff I'm going to sell I came across this in my closet of shame (full of stuff bought but for which I have very little time).
Any ideas what could it be? Something to connect an HD floppy to an Amiga? I remember at some point I had one of those...

As usual, thanks in advance for the help.

Looks like an interface to use a PC floppy drive as a standard DD drive on an Amiga.

Thanks! I suspected as much, I remember buying some bit and pieces (some SDIEC for C64 and this interface with a drive) but the drive and the interface must have ended in different boxes and I wasn't sure.

Thanks a lot! 👏

Did or do you have an A4000t? I'm pretty sure it had a PC FD drive and such an adapter

I also found it in my A1200 Escom with mb 1D4 (connected to a Panasonic HD floppy drive). I was hoping it would handle HD floppies too, but it doesn't seem like it.

I have a couple of Amiga 4000D, but no T, but doing some digging I found I bought this (here on Amibay actually ☺️) adapter together with a PC drive because Amiga drives were (probably still are) sold too expensive. Now I just need to find where I did stash the PC drive that came with it :ROFLMAO:

Ah this little fudge-it thing!

Amiga Technologies made them afaik? allowed you to connect a bog-standard pc floppy drive and I think the ready signal even works?

My first one came from Eyetech back in the mid to late 1990's, exactly the same thing. I did wonder if these devices were pulled from somewhere and re-sold?
