No worries. I need to photo a load of stuff tomorrow anyway so will get it set up at some point and send you some snaps. Most of the software is there tbh, I think it's just the one tape that is missing as well as the light gun and I see Merlin has already sorted that for you and with any luck Paradroid90 has the missing tape.

Just checked my clearance stash and found the following

Time Traveller - Good Condition (Cased)
Army Days - Good Condition (Cased)
Tool Box Intro Tape (Audio) - Loose tape
Tool Box Typing Tutor - Loose Tape

Sorry thought I had more but just remember I recently sold a c64c pack and included some of the Light Fantastic tapes in the pack.

Hope this helps

That's quite all right buddy.

I do have a problem though and there might be a delay getting some photos to you, real life has got in the way of all this retro happiness :thumbsdown:. I might have something for you this evening but if not then it will be tomorrow.

Hope this is ok, I do understand you are probably dying to be reunited with the C64 after all this time. Will have some thing for you soon I promise.

Good Morning Magnox

PM sent to you regarding postage and packing if your still interested

I have the Desert Dreams music going through my head this morning.

I always loved that music on Marvin's Marvellous Adventure, and the Desert Dreams music is just as good.

There's a party in my head

I looked on Hall of Light and found the Marvin Musician is Florian W. Sauer, who in addition wrote the code for the game too.

I'm at work so I can't verify it right now, but I'll have a look at the Desert Dreams demo in a bit to see if they are the same musician.

Haha yup it certainly is a incredible tune that gets stuck in your head, well in my case for 20 years

Its uncanny the resemblance in parts of Marvins Marvellous Adventure, I think the original Music for the Amiga version of Desert Dreams was composed and written by Anders E. Hansen of Laxity :D

It's possible that the samples were scraped from memory for the game, but I hope they're either the same person, colleagues or even friends!

I often wonder what happened to Amiga people.

That's what brought me here in the first place

PS. I just noticed "Press play on tape" in your signature, and it reminded me of a music group that cover Commodore 64 music.

I remember their Arkanoid cover being very excellent indeed.

I'll find you a link: Press Play on Tape: Arkanoid

You could be right matey :) The Desert Dream was released in April of 93, and Marvins Marvelous Adventure was shortly released after in 1994, and with Desert Dream being such an influential Demo on the Amiga scene and still fresh in peoples minds it is possible it influenced the composition of the music for Marvins :)

And your right its so great that all us fans of the C64, Amiga and lots of other systems can all meet and interact on Amibay! Didn't know the C64 scene was as active still as it is today, which I'm so chuffed to find out about

Thats a pretty good cover lol :D Not heard of the group before to be honest, but I think its great that they take their love for all things C64 into the music that they play :)

Thanks muchly for sharing the link matey!

I don't know how late you'll be up but the photos might end up being the early hours of the morning. Apart from anything else I have just had an attack of OCD and realised how long it is since I got this machine and therefore how long it is since I last gave it a proper clean. So before it gets photo'd I have to scrub inside and out and make sure it looks it's best:thumbsup:

:wooha:Wow, Paradroid, I can not believe this site exists and I have never found it before!! Its stunningly epic!! :D

Just listened to a few tunes and blown away by how a lot of the remixes have got that distinct and unmistakable C64 flavor but with each artists own unique take, without compromising too much of the spirit of the original SID versions! :)

A couple that have stuck out to me already:

Rastan (Ingame remix): http://remix.kwed.org/files/RKOfiles/THC Flatline - Rastan Saga (song 2).mp3

Robocop Title Screen Music: http://remix.kwed.org/files/RKOfiles/CZ Tunes - Robocop Title Remix.mp3

Thanks again matey
