Hello fellow Amiga fans I'm new to this site but I already love it.
I was made aware of this site when trying to purchase some joysticks for an Amiga 500 (which I eventually got elsewhere). But I made an account and keep coming back.
Quick back story about me. I'm 19 yrs old (yes, really) and I have recently purchased an amiga 500 from ebay (though still waiting for delivery). The reason I had to get one is because I loved playing around with the amiga growing up, as a child I would always come home and play amiga games with my brother after school. We had two amiga 500s and certain games worked on certain systems, one had pins missing on the joystick port so was only used for single player games and the other had most of the numberpad missing but it didn't matter. Recently however I discovered that both the amigas I grew up with had been killed by fire damage along with most accessories. All that remained was a few floppy discs and manuals.
Anyway although I wasn't using the amiga that whole time and it was in the garage for about 5 years its the old cliché of you don't know what you miss until its gone. So with that i set about rebuilding the previous collection and I ended up here.
Can anyone offer some advice on how to use this site effectively?
