did you test HD720 monitor driver? It should be in the same lha archive as highgfx http://aminet.net/package/driver/moni/HighGFX40_6
Did you sell me your last bvision? Should it fit with this? :) How about fastata?

- HD720 should work just fine as well.
- I dunno for sure but I seriously doubt that it would fit ok with the BVision with the extra thick connector. Maybe with using wires soldered to the Indy it would work.
- FastATA can work but with using 2x Kickstart sockets to lift the FastATA above Indivision (meaning 2x2=4 kickstart sockets in total). That would mean that the keyboard backplate would not fit so you need to cut it as I did in the past.

I don't think it will fit with the BVision, the connector would probably get in the way, I don't have any to test though.

I didn't try any HD720 driver as this is a 4x3 screen.

FastATA might fit with Rom risers, but certainly not without. Again the connector could be an issue, it's very large.

Tried with another screen, my output is shifted to the right(see the black bar on the left, exactly the same as the other screen.) I guess I need to config tool to adjust that. I'm a bit disappointed it was sent out that way, I hope others don't have the same issue.

This time using DVI-HDMI but I will see if this TV can be adjusted.

The image is crisp and clean though:

For what it's worth, my MK1 sometimes "shifts" a bit but generally if you hit the auto configure button on the monitor it does it's thing and corrects itself in an instant.
The image does look good... enjoying your day off Steve? :-)

Having a great day off mate lol, you cannot correct this for some reason the black bar is always there on PAL/NTSC modes.

If you use other modes then the screen fits as intended, here's the HD720, this is awesome

You need a quality 1280x720x16 color desktop background now though ;)

It's actually brilliant to have all that space to move around in - TurboCalc Spread sheets actually become usable for one thing.

I want to see some web browser in that res :)

Or maybe quake68k :D It should have a frame rendered once every other second or so too :)

Derailderailderail...
I guess I´m going to have to use the rom raisers and try to then fit this and fastata and bvision in a special "case". Now I just need new wirestraps as I managed to cut them, brilliant idea that was. Have to go shopping.

I think I´ve gone past using the desktop case for my crazy plans as I cant do the keyboard cutting. (Should have that case for a simple and silent 1260 build.)

My primary worry is: How the *censored* do I connect indy aga mk2 to BMON monitor switcher :help:
And if I can´t do that then where do I get amiga rgb to bvision cable.

U make so many questions at so short time it's hard to keep up LOL :)

Well... to connect Indy mk2 to BMON u just need a DVI to VGA adapter as BMON only accepts VGA input.
If you have a complete BMON, then all the cables u need are just fine :)

so the hardware is shipping, but the software isn't ready yet?

The only time C= supplied a machine which could boot Kickstart from a floppy drive (A1000) or hard drive (A3000) was when the software wasn't ready yet! :D

I can´t figure out what that means, them being fine, but if you´re asking whether I have cables or not: Well, I only have bvision to bmon cable. I have indivision aga with indivision to vga cable that I cannot connect to bmon. I have neither vga to bmon cable nor do I have indivision to bmon cable. So I guess I will have to hunt for them. But I guess the most convenient cable would be rgb to bmon cable, which I also don´t have, then I would not so much need indivision aga, at least not for my tv. :)

Damnit! I only ordered one pair of ROM risers with my Indivision. I didn't realise I'd need two pair

Ordered them now.

Really looking forward to getting set up. My 1200 looks a bit of a mess because it's got a thwacking big Apollo 1260 attached and I don't have the luxury of a tower case.

That might be next on the agenda!

i relised too and orderd a second set and put a ticket in to get posted together but :( indy was dispatched alone nevermind will have to try without fastata machine

LOL: I even ordered only ONE Rom riser.. I forgot I will need a pair for the 1200... needless to say I could not imagine I would need 4...

/me long time no open an A1200 desktop myself... since 1993 I guess !

Hi fitzsteve. Sorry my ignorance. What is that name of the adapter for the keyboard? (1st&2nd photo, 1st post).

hi steve what if any speed differnce is there between the amount of colours shown eg 16/256

It's hard to benchmark with just Fast Ram as it's pretty slow full stop with Classic WB ADV SP which isn't really designed to be used on Fast Ram only, I'll be able to give more of a guide once I drop a proper turbo board in there :)
