Installation of Catweasel MK4 drivers in Windows 7

Hi, amigos|

Anyone can tell me if the Catweasel MK4 installation under Windows 7 32 bits needs something else than just install the drivers? (I mean, properties>compatibility,etc...)

I am about to buy one and would like to know these things to go learning which steps I'll have to follow for when the card arrives

Only the drivers and the tools and that is all. You have to install the same drivers for all the Catweasel hardware one by one. I mean, the FDD controller, the joystick port, the SID chip, etc.

What I haven't managed to make it work is the Acid64 player. Windows had detected the 6581 SID but the applications says that not is detected. Anybody had this problem and solved it?

By the way...about the Acid64 player I asked for help through the contact email and Wilfred, very fast and kindly, told me the solution:

"You should use an older version of ACID64 for getting support for Catweasel
cards.

The version you need is V2.40. You can get it here:
